I do stortytelling with balloons.  The best thing is for your friend to
pour over fairytales, children's fables, short one or two act plays,
family stories and see how he/she can adapt it into a workable story
using balloon props.  I just did a program today for a large library and
used 3 very different types of stories but was able to build props to go
with each Valentine's story.  In between each story I may say a few
words, sing a song together, recite a poem.  I suggest he/she go to the
library and get books on storytelling as a start and they offer many good
suggestions.
