Some good discussion on the percentage of bookings from phone calls.

I get about 8 out of 10 in a very competitive market due to some of the following reasons

1)I offer a variety - a magician or clown - twisting, magic, juggling, stage shows,etc. and a live rabbit in my shows.

2)65% of my business last year was from repeats, word of mouth, or somebody saw me out.  Those are all shoe-ins.

3)I have gotten several comments that people have to call back because of my voicemail message.  

4) Competitive prices.  Not the cheapest but I offer the most for the best price.
