Date: Wed, 12 Apr 2000 18:23:13 +0100 Dear one and all. I am one of the lurkers that is so grateful for all the information that appears on the list but to my embarrassment rarely contributes. Over the years I have seen a decline in models being described by their originators. Many years ago there was much discussion about the best way to annotate twisting terminology so that the word could be spread. It seems that the list is more full of opinions and argument than balloon ideas. I understand that all that appears in the list is related to the business of balloon artistry. However, sharing new ways of making a 4 balloon football playing telly tubby is of far more interest than whether pioneer is going to buy BSA. On another tack. There doesn't ever seem to be any large convention news in the UK. Are there any? All the best JJ aka dr bubbles Southampton, England
