Subject: Re: Needing Ideas:)

Hi~

Recently, I was side swiped into making balloons animals for a young
child's party (I was not working it, I made them before the party). My
mom committed me to making about 25 balloon animals to be used as
decorations, for a party, that was going to be attended by mostly 3 and 4
year olds. I did not want to do for a lot of different reasons (mainly no
insurance), but all my reason fell on deaf ear's, namely mom's. Any way
I solved my problem by modifiying one of Bruce Kalver's idea's (from his
professional portfolio for Balloon artist). I used my computer to print
up balloon animal tags and put a choking hazarad warning on it and adult
supervison required in small print at the bottom of it (WARNING: Choking
hazard-childred under 8 years old can choke on balloons. Adult supervions
required.)I know many balloon artist stick with the no balloon for
chidren under 4, but I used the same warning on my label as the one on
the bag, as it must have passed their lawyers. To solve your problem, use
the balloon pet tag with a warning, give the balloon to the adult and
remind them, that balloons are not ment for children under ______(insert
age). If they give it to the kid, then it is their problem. (I also
recommand getting insurance! Better to have it and not need it, then to
need it and not have it.-----Old Ranger saying.)

Just my two cents worth!

Gone. All traded for the promise of progress.Facing the future I see
hope, hope that
we will survive, hope that we will prosper. For without hope I cannot
live. Remember
the past but do not dwell there. Face the future where all our hopes
stand." ---Kamakawiwo'ole
