I don't post that often on here but read it all the time. I had to comment on this conversation about the B&D pump. It sounds like a good deal for the price. However, I am concerned with the apparent lack of comments about how much you TOUCH your audience, no matter the speed. Yes, speed is important in long lines etc. The faster you go, the more you make and all that. BUT if you are just a machine cranking those little critters out, then your ENTERTAINMENT value is worthless. Anyone can learn to twist a balloon with a little practice. It takes a lot more to learn to entertain while you are twisting. When the child's balloon is all shriveled up and gone, they aren't going to remember the animal you made, but will never forget how you touched their lives. I still remember a clown around here that used to go to the Safeway stores when I was about 6 (I am 42). I think all he did was make little apples. I do remember how he touched me. He was special (His name was Tiny.). So, whatever pump you use, (they're all good) don't worry about the speed so much, but make it so special for that child, that they too will remember it 36 years later. Keep on Twistin, Bill "Dr. Twistin" Beatty kingdomkapers@integrityol.com
