A cute idea for "Mexican" balloons: Throw a spoonfull of uncooked rice into some 5-inch rounds beforehand. Underinflate the round and knot it, at maybe 3-4 inches....Inflate a 260 (or since you prefer 160s, they'll probably work just as well, altho I haven't tried it) and make three 2 inch fold twists to make a 'tripod'. Attach the knot of the round into the middle of the fold twists, wrapping the knot tightly to secure it, to make 'maracas'....the rice gives it a nice maraca sound when you shake it....to make the 'handle' you can make a 4-5 inch bubble and tie off, finish the handle with an apple twist at the end. .... if you're using a 160, go about 4-5 inches down, fold the balloon and swirl a handle, attach it to the 3-bubble top, tie off and discard the excess. Hope this makes sense to you....e-me privately if it doesn't. On Wed, 12 Apr 2000 hrthrob@pacbell.net wrote: > > He asked if I could twist some designs that fit the theme.
