Tracy, don't go nuts - it's not your fault!  Many new twisters on 
this list have been complaining about those "Large Flower" 
instructions. It seems that some copies of "Twisting History" were 
misprinted... On page 85, if your copy says:


   Fold the stem into an "S" shape.
   Stick an arrow point in the center of the "S" at the twists indicated.


you'll want to put away your quiver, grab a pen and change it to:


   Fold the stem into an "S" shape.
   Twist in the center of the "S" at the points indicated by the arrows.


I think Larry Moss reads this list occasionally, so chances are good 
that he'll  see your note.  I'm sure he'll want to fix this 
personally, so don't be surprised if he sends you a new page 85... 
and a pair of cat-sized ear plugs.
