I'm trying to arrange my taxes and am having trouble figuring out how to
claim tips.  What do y'all do?  I know that waiters have to claim 8% of
their sales for tips, at least in California, but that doesn't exactly work
for us.  Do you claim a percentage or just the hourly, or do you keep
accurate records everytime and claim the whole????? What's the letter of the
law and the spirit??  Anyway, either email me privately and I will compile
the responses and send to the list or email to all of us.  I'm sure that I'm
not the only one struggling with this.
