Subject: Proud Poppa!

Well, once again I am a very proud poppa. Amanda had her first paying job today and did a wonderful job. She learned many lessons, lessons about the value of education and the rewards of long hours of studying and practice. I don't know of many (if any) 12 year olds who go out and have their first job making more C-shells than either of their parents. :) She has made me very very proud! :) As I mentioned before we go to many of the Houston Aeros hockey games and Amanda twists creations for each of the games including the bomber I posted before:

and a pic of her giving the bomber to her favorite player Greg Walters

Well, the job was for another of the Aeros fans to celebrate their daughters birthday. They have watched her twist during the season and wanted her for the party.

Here is a pic of her before we left for the job with a practice creation.

Her latest creation for the Aeros game is a weaved balloon version of the Turner Cup, (the IHL version of the NHL's Stanley Cup) Everyone loved it and the players reactions were varied, from a superstitious aversion to anything relating to the cup, to absolutely having to touch it and going and getting their wives to come see it! It has been great fun.

I also want to thank all of you for helping to make this possible, so many of you have helped us and helped to create a link between my daughter and myself that will never be broken.

Thanks!
	Fred and Amanda
