This was through somebody else's business, and I asked my boss (head clown) if "Mom" was maybe not aware that 16-year olds are too cool for this. My boss told me that the birthday-boy in question was the one who specifically requested it. So, I went, terrified that this was be-cruel-to-clowns week or something, but it was really cool. The boy had a handful of friends over, all sweet as can be and yet fun-loving. They got a kick out it. They all wanted to be painted, one boy in camoflage, a couple of girls just wanted some sparkly thing on their cheeks, and four of the boys (best buds) wanted to be painted like the KISS guys. I realize this is not exactly balloon related, but I thought I'd put my two cents in regarding teenagers sometimes being cool with kid-stuff.
