Subject: My 13 yr. olds(Sundays Party)

 Hi all.    Well, .......The party was terrific!  :)  I began by telling them 
a little bit about myself, and then asked them if they would  be interested 
in me teaching them how to make a Flying Mouse .  I blew up  a balloon for 
each boy, the color of their choice, tied it off, and gave it to him. They 
were very attentive and asked questions too. Then we all twisted together. 
Some had more problems than others, we went back over it a few times, and we 
all secceeded. They were actually pleased that they were able to accomplish 
the feat!  After that, I began to make figures for those who wanted them. I 
figured it was best to do it that way because if you start by making a figure 
for one person at a time at the start of the party, well, their attention 
will last about 15 seconds, right? The grass ate a lot of balloons,lol and I 
made others, some for the moms too. They invited me to stay for cake and Ice 
cream  and I got a $10 tip too. I was more excited than the kids,lol. We all 
had a nice time.
If I hadn't received such good information from  this great group at BHQ,  I 
know I would have been pretty uptight, and may not have performed well.

PS-- My next problem is : how do you sell yourself. You can't just give 
business cards out to family members, thats no way to make money,lol
I can only do sit down gigs , as in parties ,because I'm not able to stand 
for more than a few minutes.
