It comes with a USB pen, and a special mouse pad. You can either free draw, or trace over a scanned photo. . . then you can delete the photographic part of your new image. . . THEN, if you want part of it back, you use this eraser tool to rub over the section of the image that you want to return. it is called: The Pen Partner and was made by a company called Wacom.
