Hello everyone. I'm brand new here for listing a post, but thought
I'd take a moment to say HI to ALL, and share some news from this past
weekend.

We just had our local fair, and I decided to busk again, for one day.
Went in on Sat. and twisted from 12:30 to 9:30 non-stop. Once I got
started, there was no stopping. I think I did quite well; pulled in
over 300.00 for the 8 hrs.. I don't know if that's good or bad for 8
hrs., but I felt good about it; just totally EXHAUSTED from the day.
Was training my young 10 yr. old. He'll soon be able to join me 'full
force'. The best I've done at that fair was 2 yrs. ago. Worked a
Sat. for 11 hours non-stop and made over 500.00 gross. Then I couldn't
walk for the next two, hehe.

Can any of you pros out there give me some indication if this is :
normal, good, average, bad.

I would love to get together for a jam, if anyone on this post in near
the Picton, Ontario area.

Must tell you all, I've really really enjoying my reading here. Lots
of exceptional advice.

There are many of you I'd LOVE to meet one day. The only guy on here
I've met in person so far is John The Balloonman Holmes. "Phenominal
guy" and "phenominal twister". You won't remember me John I'm sure,
but you took time in Hamilton a couple years ago in a little Internet
Cafe to teach me basics of balloon weaving. You opened up a 'whole
new world to me brother'. God bless ya man.

I've been making huge weaved balloon hats to wear myself when I twist
ever since. The comments and compliments I receive are priceless.
And, I always give my hat away when I'm done.

Just did a job today for a large plant about a half hour from here.
Twisted for 3 hours in a cafeteria for the employees. The 'huge hat'
I wore drew a lot of attention and excitement. Picked up a tidy
250.00 for the job. Passed out some cards, and even got another
possible booking for next week at a local church. The employees want
me back, so I think more work will come.

Well, I've said enuf. Anyway folks, this is a most enjoyable digest.

Hope to find time to share more.

God Bless All...
