I know some clowns who I wish would have smokers breath, because it
would be a sight better than what they have! Who ever made that comment
about the great unwashed masses must have gone to a clown convention. (
I'm only half serious, because most people have good hygiene, but it can
be a problem, and bad hygiene is an insult to what we do.)

I buy altoids in bulk, and have them stashed everywhere. I have a box of
them in  every show case and balloon bag I own. You owe it to the public
to be presentable.

As far as mouth inflation goes, In 21 years of earning a living doing
this, I've never had anyone make any comment about it being unsanitary,
although now that I think about it, I'm really surprised. Another thing
that I dislike about using pumps, is the air is dryer, and the balloons
pop more. I’ll continue to mouth inflate until I can't anymore.
