Subject: BPH (Balloons per Hour)

I can make about a gross of simple one balloon animals in an hour.
(Mouth inflation, with a pump, maybe about 100) But if I do more
advanced creations, I do a lot less, 40 per hour. If I do really
advanced creations, 20 per hour. If I do really, really advanced
creations, 10 per hour. If I do really, really, really advanced
creations, 4 per hour. If I do really, incredible, super, unbelievable
advanced creations, I make 'em all come to my house and watch me make
one , then I release the hounds to make ’em all leave, which works so
much better than a "last balloon" sign on someone's back.

But to be serious for a moment, it never hurts to have way more balloons
than you need. When I first started many years ago, I once ran out of
balloons at a company outing. I never let it happen again. If I have a 4
hour gig, I have at least 1 bag of each color. If you are bringing mixed
bags, I would bring 6 bags and not have to worry. (You can always bring
them home, and use them at the next gig.)

Peace,

Joe
