      Lately I have taken to offering "Mystery Hats" when I approach a table
(particularly a table loaded with kids). Apparently the name is VERY
intriguing. I offer the kids a choice of "Mystery hat #1 - #10". It doesn't
matter what number they choose because I make them up as I go along. Usually
the
whole table options for a "Mystery Hat". In the fashion of the Queen of Hats
(Diane Waters) I usually refuse to make any particular mystery hat twice at
one
table. Anyway, I have experienced good success with this technique and I
hope it helps
you some way too.
