I enjoy twisting!!!!! I love the smiles on the kids faces, when I hand
them a creation. I have worked a lot of 8 hour days at swim meets,
working as a shephard and twisting when I had time. I twist for them and
do not get paid, not that they have not offered, but rather, I am using
them!

My daugther is on the swim team and I have to work 8 swim meets, it is
part of the deal. Before this, I would twist at home and have no
interaction with kids. Since the swim team, I have learn A LOT about
dealing with kids (I also HIGHLY recommand  Kidbiz by David Ginn..WORTH
EVERY CENT AND THEN SOME!!!). My gaol in twisting is to be good at it and
make those who see me twist,   enjoy it.

I recently went out and had to earn a few bucks, with my limited skill
and I did ok. But,  I know that I need to work and improve on my skills,
a goal worth working towards!

I too have seen the one balloon wonders, who ply their vile trade and
pawn it off as art (The art of not caring!). They make me sick!! They are
not tring to improve their skill, nor even entertain, they are only out
to make a fast buck , which is there right,  I however do not have to
like it! 

I Truely wish one of the balloon companies would come out with a
certified twisters program, so as people could tell the professional from
the one balloon dog wonders. Granted those that are professional will
alway out do the one balloon wonders, but it is the image they protray
that effects us all.
