Kodak DC4800 or Casio 3000

I have worked with both of these cameras. I personally own the 4800. If
you are going to want to print the photo at 8x10 you are going to want to
get at least a 3megapixel. The Casio is nice because it uses a 340MB micro
drive (very cool feature), I personally went with the Kodak because of the
ability to use the lense adapter for other added lenses: wide angle,
telephoto, etc.

I use the camera to take pictures of people at my restaurant gigs. I then
come home and post them on the web. From there they can purchase them or
email me to receive the high res copy.

I use photo software the produces a low res picture for putting up on the
web. That is what I use on my web site, and a few that I have put up on HQ.
So I get the best of both worlds
1> high res for printing up to 11x14 photos
2> low res for use on the web.

I was thinking about buying a digital camera, but not sure what to buy.
Before you tell me to look in the guide as I know this has been discussed, I
don't believe this question has been. I was wondering if BHQ has any
limitations on the size of image file that can be posted? My husband said
it's not worth buying a high pixel camera if BHQ won't put it on. I would
like to use the camera to take pictures of my work, and send them to BHQ. I
also want to make at least 5x7 or 8x10 photo's for portfolios. I do
twisting, balloon decor, and own a bowmaster machine and do allot of things
with it. I looked at several of the photo's on BHQ that appear very nice,
but when I brought up the properties, they were not high resolution
pictures. Any advice as to why or why not I should buy a higher pixel
camera please advise. I also would like to make a web-site with the
pictures. Any person who owns a camera can give me your review of the
advantages, disadvantages of it.

Thanks,
