We have a chain of stores in the Detroit Metro area called Bed, Bath and 
Beyond.  They have a collapsible see-through net clothes hamper in navy or 
white ($7.99), that may meet the criteria for holding pre-inflated balloons 
or props for your shows.  It folds up to the size of a dinner plate about one 
inch thick and just "pops" open upon release of the tension.  It's almost 
"magicable" in itself.  Has carrying handles, too.
