I tried this for my own geographic area recently and found that 75% of the
balloon artists listed were not able to be contacted based on the information
listed in the artist directory.

While I fully understand the necessity of checking the directory first before
posting, it seems that being able to post announcements for upcoming events or
searching for others in a given area directly to the list reaches a larger
group of people. Is there a way to encourage more people to list themselves in
the artist directory and to keep that information updated?
