It is up to the individual to maintain and update his or her information
in the artist directory. Updating an e-mail address for the mailing lists
does not automatically update your information in the artist directory.

This point is true, but in an overkill sort of way. Granted, it is easier
to post to the list, but please take into consideration the enormous and
unnecessary drain on resources at BalloonHQ, which provides this service
free of charge, as well as the number of people who will receive the
message who may not benefit from it, not to mention the fact that the
message must be archived.
