Hi y'all. Don Caldwell came down to the jam last night and I got a copy of
his new (?) video-- "Living La Vida Latex". I have to say, I was really
impressed with it. On this video he has all of the new most popular
parodies-- including some that have been giving me trouble for a while.
He's got blue dogs, "Not" pokemons, powder girls, Scooby's, -- basically
everything that people have been asking about lately. I found the tape
quite clever. They are all balloons that could be done in a restaurant if
you think that you have a generous table. The instructions are simple
enough for all levels, and the designs are impactuous (my new word for
having a lot of impact).

The thing that I really liked is that when I design a character, I always
seem to get so into little details that my characters take 20 min each and
are 3' tall. They make perfect presents for the birthday kid-- I make them
at home and bring them with me to the party-- but they leave me saying "I
CAN do that, but I don't have time to do it here..." at restaurants. These
designs, with a little practice can be pumped out pretty quickly.

He's even got a special bonus segment for those of us who like to watch all
the credits to see if anything will happen.......

All and all, I was pretty impressed and caught a few ideas off of it..... I
think that beginner and advanceder alike will enjoy it. (Don't you love how
I improve on the English language?)

Well there you are. Yet another review.

Still waiting for more e- jam stuff......

Have a GREAT night!! Sandi

Have a GREAT day!!!
