<DIV>I have been to 2 clown funerals. Fellow joeys who are now spreading joy elsewhere. At each the friends and fellow clowns painted a blue tear on their cheek and there were balloon bouquets up by the casket with the other flowers. At one we all filed by at a designated time and placed a balloon animal or balloon flower on the stage area by the casket on a special table. One of the clown's costume was displayed prominently because clowning was so much a part of who he was and a release was done at the graveside with a special reading from the alley president.</DIV>
